Brittany "Tru" Kellman, the author of "A Black Woman's Guide to Home Birth", is Founding Director of Jamaa Birth Village, a Primary Midwife Student and the 1st Black CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) student in St. Louis. As a 3rd generation healer and traditionalist, Tru will weave together stories of her childhood with the herstory of birth, Midwives, tradition, culture and the power of birthing at home.
